We hope everyone had a wonderful winter break with their friends and family. Although we did not send out a blog post last week, we hit the ground running with your students. Last week, we did our class and school spelling bee, learned new vocabulary words, and read/annotated a poem titled, "A Canoe's Night Music". We will continue our poetry unit throughout the next 3-4 weeks tentatively. Dr. Foote' and Ms. Culberson (1st, 5th, 6th Periods): This week, we are continuing to focus on "A Canoe's Night Music". Today, the students took a vocabulary quiz on words from the poem. They did really well on this quiz and we are very proud of them. It has been a great start to the semester! As the week continues, we will read another poem titled, "A Journey of Ten Thousand
